Competitions

Competitions are held throughout the year. Cadets participate in Physical Fitness Team Competitions, Drill Team Competitions, as well as Color Guard. There will be 3 PFT Competetions. One at RRHS on 9/20/03, the second at New Braunfels HS 21 Feb 2004, and the third some time in April at Hayes. There is also one color guard meet 21 Feb 2004 as well. The Drill Team will compete once this year. Schools from all over Texas come to participate. It is quite a fun experience! Cadets get to be with their friends, in a highly MODIVATED atmosphere, where competition is fierce, but we have fun!

IMPORTANT!

We need females who want to compete in the New Braunfels meet! If you want to compete, have the passing grades, and are physically fit *by this, I mean you can get good times in the runs, do flexed arm hang, standing broad jump, good sit up count, and posibly o course. This WILL be difficult. There are very few (if any) breaks. So, If you think you can do it, or you know some one who can, and is willing, please contact C/SgtMaj Contreras or C/1stLt Hall.
